The Mountainside team resides near the historic town of Sonora, CA. We have over 30 years of combined experience in education and are experienced in both public and private educational settings, international schools, charters, and homeschool communities.

Chad is a career middle school math teacher. He has taught in 5 countries and has worked in an advisory role for home educators for the last 6 years. Chad approaches math from a "communication" perspective - focusing on reasoning and demonstration of mathematical understanding.

About Us

Nichole is a certified elementary school teacher in California. She has worked with students in various settings, including kindergarten through sixth grade classrooms, outdoor education, homeschool, independent study advising, and as an Orton-Gillingham reading tutor.
